LEGO 10275 – Elf Club House

The Set

Former Toy Photographer and now LEGO designer Chris McVeigh is impressing us one again! The first set he gave us when joining the LEGO Group was the Brick Sketch sets. Which Chris was designing before he became a designer at HQ.

For those who know Chris’s work, there is another throwback in the LEGO Elf Club House to his pre-LEGO life. Do you know what it is?

That’s right! The computer! Before working for LEGO, Chris was known for building old computers out of LEGO bricks.

So, he thought it would be a fun nod to his past to include a small brick-build computer in this set.

Just like all the Christmas sets LEGO gives us, this is packed with festive fun. The LEGO Elf Club House gives us a glimpse into the everyday lives of Santa’s little helpers.

Including a waggle machine to help them refuel after a long day of toy making, a brick-built repositionable chimney and even a ‘sleigh port’ to park the elf’s sleigh in, ready to load up with presents.

We have also been loaded up with Elf workers in this set, each with their own personalities. It appears they sleep on a rotating roster, as there are three beds are six Elves.

But I guess someone has to get the work done! Inside their house is full of fun story elements, with a family photo on the wall, count down calendar and work bench.

New Elements

LEGO have also given us a new element! No more building reindeer like a chump, they now introduced a fully molded reindeer to pull the sleigh, which Chris has affectionately named Brixen!

The LEGO® Elf Clubhouse, which measures at 8.5″ (22cm) high and 5″ (13cm) deep, makes a stunning display piece. With a LEGO light brick included in the set to help illuminate the festive scene.

Add it to other sets in the LEGO Holiday collection. Including the LEGO Creator Expert Gingerbread House and the LEGO Creator Expert Winter Village Fire Station to create a decorative festive display.

LEGO Elf Club Houseâ„¢ will be available directly via LEGO.com and LEGO Stores from 23rd September
