A build for babies that adults can enjoy!

LEGO Friends continues for another year, and we’ve been slated with the whole first wave of 2025. Taking a look into Aliya’s Baby Sister’s Playroom, how does LEGO Friends hold up for 2025’s first wave?

The Playroom

Giving us a set for babies for children might be a first for LEGO. This set is a small build for a small budget, but gives us a clear focus and story, and two new moulds!

With 2025, there are new plushie toys, this one having a tiger, and then the new baby mould. LEGO have previously done swaddled babies, but this is our first that can stand on their own. We also get a stroller in this set to push them around in too! I’m glad we have moved away from the other child sized mould for LEGO Friends, now giving us four ages to convey in mini-doll form.

As for the room, we get a ball pit, a small slide, cot, a small mobile above, and an eating space. I love the stickers in this set; the shelves with powder, the silly face, the foam mat and particularly the food station.

By having the food on a flag element, it allows the tray to fold up and away, but is also on a rotating technic axle. This allows you to flip the food from clean plated to messy – or better yet, off the table!

Verdict

For $30 AUD, giving an easy way to gain access to the new baby mould and new pram is fantastic. With such a limited size and parts, the set ticks a lot of boxes for what is needed, and doing it in a small, concise way. 100% recommend.
