LEGO Friends continues for another year, and we’ve been slated with the whole first wave of 2025. Taking a look into the LEGO Friends Surfing Dogs and Scooter, how does LEGO Friends hold up for 2025’s first wave?
The Set
An undoubtedly popular set for the 2025 period, this set is our first introduction to LEGO Friends Corgis! And not just Corgis, but surfing Corgis!
Yes, this small set gives us two surfing Corgis, a surfboard, sidecar scooter for them, as well as wind powered trike for them also. Every vehicle in this set is equipped to be pet-friendly, allowing a small $20 AUD set to contain a lot of character.
The two vehicle builds are nothing wildly new, but filled with pops of colour that complement each other. I really like the sail of the trike, with new sticker elements that break up the otherwise overpowering white.
The set also comes with a small beach section, giving us two sun loungers, a sandcastle, drunks and beach plant. Well done LEGO Friends.
Verdict
This set, for its price, is fantastic. The new moulds of Corgis for a low price point is great, and surely going to keep it being popular for a while.
