Beekeeping be keeping a heap of bees!
LEGO Friends continues for another year, and we’ve been slated with the whole first wave of 2025. Taking a look into the House and Flower Garden, how does LEGO Friends hold up for 2025’s first wave?
The Beekeeping Home
Ever since we got a LEGO Beekeeper CMF, I’m sure there has been many people asking for a beekeeping home. Well, the prayers have been answered and we have LEGO Friends answering the call.
Built around a vintage styled home, we are given a farm and beekeeping combination, with extras to boot. Focusing on the outside, the exterior gives us a farm on the left (next to the lovely chimney) and the beekeeping home on the right. Sprawled between is numerous flowers a lovely textured path to boot.
On the right hand side gives us various beehive styles, as well as a new 1×1 round tile bee print. This new version is more accurate and less cartoony, but is also accompanied by a ladybug and beetle tile too.
Looking upwards, we see the tree is also gives plenty of those new tulip elements too!
Moving to the interior of the model, we see a commercial buisness of honey, candles and seeds for sowing. We also get some beekeeping information for the flowers and lovely family portrait.
Upstairs of the home also gives us a bedroom with beekeeping books, set of drawers and even a vintage typewriter and clock.
Verdict
There is clearly a lot of research put into the set by the designers, and a very clear passion for the medium. This set is closely tied for the best set of the wave for me, and I really appreciate how it piques my own curiosity with beekeeping. Beekeeping is clearly important for the ecosystem, and I’m glad that there is now a new way to share that information with kids.
Highly recommend.
