New pets, new moulds, new fun?
LEGO Friends continues for another year, and we’ve been slated with the whole first wave of 2025. Taking a look into the Guinea Pig Playground, how does LEGO Friends hold up for 2025’s first wave?
The Playground
Giving us a new mould of Guinea Pigs in a small set, LEGO Friends is certainly generous for 2025. The Guinea Pig Playground set gives us two coats of Guinea Pigs, as well as a fun little course for them to run around on.
With the ability to hide underneath, go up a ramp, feed and slide away, the set is an easy way for kids to play. Not to mention putting them on the spinning turnstile and spinning them around until they fly off into the void.
LEGO also gives us two new details too, the seeds on a printed 1×1 round tile, and the new yarn piece for 2025. Though it should be noted that this is used in this specific colour in a large set as spaghetti, so make your own connections here.
Verdict
Another small less than $20 set that gives people access to new moulded animals for the 2025 rollout is fantastic for LEGO. Even though the set is somewhat simplistic, the allowing people to budget and get the new exciting things is a great move. Highly recommend.
