News: LEGO Ideas Godzilla & GWP revealed for November 2026

The legendary Godzilla has been revealed as a LEGO set

Inspired by a fan designer’s idea, voted for by fans and brought to life by the LEGO Group, the LEGO Ideas Godzilla has officially been revealed!

LEGO fan designer MattE720 first submitted the project back in December 2023. After gaining more than 10,000 votes from the LEGO Ideas community, the design made it through the review process and earned approval from the LEGO Group. Now, it’s finally becoming an official LEGO set!

Now, no shade to Matt — his design is fantastic! However, I can’t help but wish the LEGO Group had gone in a direction more like my mate @Jayfa_Mocs, who revealed his own Godzilla design back in April 2023.

Regardless, I can’t get over the massive piece count LEGO has gone with for this set. It’s an absolute monster of a build, and Godzilla fans are going to love it!
