LEGO Masters Australia ‘Caught in the Act’ Challenge - Season 7 Episode 7 Recap

Every build from LEGO Masters Australia Grand Masters of the Galaxy

Season 7 Episode 7 – The ‘Caught In The Act’ Challenge

Who doesn’t love a murder mystery! Teams enter the studio to discover 7 base plates making up different rooms, along side some wax sealed envelopes.

Inside the envelopes are crimes (items that have been stolen), that the LEGO Masters Australia teams must build. At the end of their build time, a special guest (probably Sophie Monk) will need to decipher the crimes the teams have built.

Each team will take a room’s base plate to build upon.

Teams have 9 hours.

David & G – Australia

Room: Garage – Item: A Vehicle that is not a car

‘The Motorbike in the Garage’

A motorbike is being stolen, the door is broken with a policeman coming through. And the home owner tied up on the floor.

Henry & Cade – Australia

Room: Lounge room – Item: A priceless work of art

‘The Painting in the Living Room’

Their story starts with an open window and a grappling hook. The two thieves have snuck into the room, stolen the painting off the wall, and are navigating through the security system to try and escape.

Trent & Alex – Australia

Room: Study – Item: A valuable musical instrument

‘The Grand Piano in the Studio’

In the studio, the jazz musician is asleep on the couch, while the thieves steal the piano behind him.

Nick & Stacey – Canada

Room: Kitchen – Item: Christmas Lunch

‘The Christmas Lunch in the Kitchen’

The bad Santa has broken in through the door, tracking dirt inside. He is stealing the turkey into his Santa sack.

Dai & Jiayuan – China

Room: Study – Item: Something from a safe

‘Jewellery in the Study’

In the study, the two removalists are taking items from the safe, with help from the maid. The rich person who owns the house is too busy with their cat to notice.

Oskari & Aura – Finland

Room: Rumpus Room – Item: Sporting Memorabilia

‘Tennis Racquet in the Rumpus Room’

There is a party going on in the rumpus room. The rumpus room contains some expensive memorabilia. In it, the kids have been stealing the collectables and they have been caught by the parents.

Sophie Monk wasn’t able to guess their crime.

Vidar & Albin – Sweden

Room: Greenhouse – Item: A prize winning Vegetable

‘A Carrot in the Greenhouse’

Two rabbits are being caught in the act of stealing an award winning carrot. With farmer trying to stop them.

Challenge Winners

In the top two teams for this challenge, Henry & Cade, alongside Trent & Alex. Taking out the win, Henry & Cade from Australia!

With Finland being the only team that Sophie Monk was unable to guess, it sadly puts them in the bottom two alongside Nick & Stacey from Canada.

Unfortunately, for Nick & Stacey from Canada, they will be going home from LEGO Masters Australia, Grand Masters of the Galaxy. The Brickman said their technical skill and lack of Christmas decorations were the reasons for getting sent home.
