Two new LEGO Chinese Spring Festival sets revealed for 2026

2026 is Year of the Horse on the Chinese Spring Festival calendar, and LEGO has just revealed 2 new LEGO sets coming in January to celebrate!

80118 – LEGO Spring Festival Fortune Firecracker

Hang the canvas with a printed brush painting of 4 galloping horses. Which symbolises the traditional blessing of ‘success upon arrival’ in the New Year, as a backdrop to your model.

Pose the legs of the 4 brick-built horse toys and turn the handle to make the horses move as if galloping out of the painting.

Horses are a symbol of strength and the total number of 8 depicted in the painting/model symbolises good fortune.

Attach the scene featuring minifigures of a painter and a person in Year of the Horse costume plus a horse painting on a scroll to the model.

Team up with Build Together mode in the LEGO Builder app, where everyone has fun building part of the set using their own devices. Set contains 1,650 pieces.

80119 – LEGO Spring Festival Galloping Horse Canvas

It features ornate firecrackers with LEGO bricks inside to make a ‘crackling’ noise when moved.

Press the button to reveal either a Spring Festival firework display or scene with people welcoming the God of Fortune.

While one of the celebration scenes is displayed inside the firecracker model, the other can be played with separately.

The set features 6 minifigures, including a God of Fortune, to encourage role play.

This building toy is great for kids to build solo or as a group project and the finished model is designed to be wall-mounted as living room decor.
