The weirdest Batmobile, now in LEGO Form!
LEGO have graced us in the early parts of 2026 with a slew of Batman sets, lining up with the 20 year anniversary of Batman sets. Each set comes with its own representation of a period in Batman’s media history, and thus we have a few to go through. So how does the LEGO DC Batman: Batman & Robin Batmobile hold up? Read on!

Batman & Robin Batmobile
Undeniably one of the strangest Batmobile models, we now have out hands on it in LEGO form! First up, I want to say that the designers here did a great job, but holy heck did they get a short-straw.
Opting to use stickers rather than overly complex unique moulds, the details of the Batmobile are stuck to all sides of the vehicle. Whether it be the front detailing, the powered red on the sides, or the two-half stickers for the logo on the front. There is a lot going on here.
The vehicle has a lot of odd shapes, and the conversion to LEGO was never going to translate perfectly, but looking at the vehicle and final product, subtle curvatures bleed through to reality here.
The brake lights are great, the horns work well for the blades on the front, and the colours that pop across the model give it a new sense of life.
Oh yes – the Batmobile also does NOT have a canopy. I found myself and a few others questioning why it wasn’t there before looking it up online. This is correct by design.
Minifigure
Our LEGO Batman Minifigure for this set is the George Clooney Batman, and admittedly one of the most detailed Batman suits ever. Referencing the silver covered attire in the later parts of the film, Batman here has leg printing, torso printing and… helmet printing? Yes – this is the first Batman helm I’ve seen that has more than printed eyes!
I really like the figure and the details all across it. Solid thumbs up.

Verdict
Do I feel like the final model looks like the Batmobile from the film? No. I do not.
Do I think I could do better? Hell no! This thing is a nightmare of shapes and curves that I think anyone would struggle.
Has the designer done a good job? Hell yeah. It’s fantastic for what could be put in the model, but darn is this thing not easy to figure out.
For younger fans of Batman, I don’t see them running to shops to buy this model on day one, but this is one for the nostalgic fans. The LEGO Batman Minifigure in the set is undoubtedly superb in its own right, but maybe not enough to justify the cost. This will be the set that sits a bit on the back-burner alongside its counterparts I think.
