The LEGO Group have graced us in the early parts of 2026 with a slew of Batman sets, lining up with the 20 year anniversary of Batman sets. The Batman Batmobile

Sleek with smooth shaping across the chassis, the designer of the LEGO DC Batman: The Batman Batmobile set has done well to evolve this set from its previous iteration. With subtleties in the design for the rear engine, stickers between the front and rear wheels, as well as asymmetry at the rear, the set is well thought through.

I really like the details that also exist within the driver’s seat, with subtle stickers bringing the whole thing together.

Aside from these things, the reality is – it is just a car. That’s got nothing to do with LEGO or the designers, and a whole different conversation topic for another day.

Is this the most fun or iconic Batmobile? No. But it is a really well designed vehicle model from LEGO showing clear demonstration of LEGO model evolution with time.

Minifigure

Our Robert Patterson version of Batman comes prepped with the most tech-savvy outfit of Batman we’ve seen so far. The utility belt is more than nonspecific pouches, and the asymmetry looks great. I strangely see this version of the figure being easily adapted into a custom Red Hood figure too.

The cape and helmet are nothing new. But I love that the head choice gives us defined cheek bones like the actor.

Verdict

This set, amongst the range of Batmobiles being released, keeps a consistent standard of care and design across the wave.

It isn’t by far my favourite Batmobile, but LEGO’s conveying of the vehicle in brick form is superb, and one I can’t really fault.

I don’t generally think it is worth the price tag attached to it, at face value. This is a consistent feeling I have with all others released at during this wave. Might be the DC tax, who knows. But I know Batman fans will love every opportunity they have to get a Batmobile, and this will be no different.
