A tricked out Snowspeeder worthy of any intergalactic Car show!

The LEGO Star Wars The Force Burner Snowspeeder is one heck of an addition to the LEGO line-up of sets this year. Although not generating as much hype as the Dark Millennium Falcon set of yesteryear, this was a set that I was keen to get my hands on. The bright colours, the whacky concept and flame decals – is it any good at the end of the day? Read on!

75414 LEGO Star Wars The Force Burner Snowspeeder August 2025

The Force Burner Snowspeeder

Simply put – woah.

With a bright vibrant pop of colour and a flame pattern Guy Fieri would be proud of – this thing makes an impact statement and a half. This model may look slightly bulkier than LEGO’s other snow speeders of the past, but it takes a lot of the improvements over the years and builds upon them.

We still get our classic style gun barrels at the front of the ship, but we also get a new cockpit mould I don’t recognise. Admittedly it is quite hard to open with minimalistic grip points, but it shows that it all closes up tightly too.

The big highlight of the speeder is the surprise of the, well, speeder! Tricked out in simple flame colours and decals, the Sig and Dev duo can attack the enemy on two fronts! Drop him out and below for quick deployment and take the fight to them! It’s simple bar connection on the underside – but it works! I’m sure the LEGO designers had a lot of fun with this one.

Cool STAP

Star Wars fans recognise a STAP anywhere – which is traditionally a droid-piloted piece of technology. LEGO have re-invented the wheel more times than I can remember when it comes to these things, but I genuinely like this one the most. We get a few new recoloured elements (1×3 rounded plates, more than once in dark blue), and the tiny detail of the foot rest is great to me.

It is a relatively small set of parts for our villain’s vehicle – but it is enough. Keeping cost down but still creating a conflict-in-a-box is a great engagement product.

Minifigures

The minifigures that are included in this set are Darth Dev, Sig Greebling and Solitus. Fans of the Dark Millenium Falcon will recognise two of these figures as new variants. With Dev and Sig now teaming up in Jedi and Sith-coded armours alike. Both of these armours have great versatility but still seem unique to the characters in a positive way.  Big approvals!

(Dev and Sig are brothers, but when the galaxy was mixed up Sig convinced his previous older light side fanatical brother went dark)

What is also a new fun character here is Solitus – sporting (from what I can find) the only Star Wars media instance of lightsaber nun chucks. Solitus is also the former master of Jedi Bob, and is rocking some wildly cool robes that really set him apart.

Simply put, these characters and minifigures are fantastic.

Verdict

This is a set that I think really gets back to the roots of the original Star Wars sets.

We have a rehash on a classic in a fun way. Which is reminiscent of the old LEGO Star Wars instructions that would show creative alternative models from the set’s parts..

The characters here are all exclusive, fun, and a great way to add to Star Wars.

I recommend whole heartedly. This set slaps.
