LEGO Masters Australia Season 7 Episode 2 - Team Birdman Challenge - S07E02 - Brick Banter

Every build from LEGO Masters Australia Grand Masters of the Galaxy

Season 7 Episode 2 – The ‘Team Birdman’ Challenge

In traditional fashion of LEGO Masters Australia, episode 2 is where stuff gets broken! LEGO Masters Grand Masters of the Galaxy, season 7 of the Australian series is no different.

Team names are drawn at random from an International & Australian bucket. Pairing two teams to build this challenge together.

The LEGO Masters Grand Masters of the Galaxy teams are provided with a gliding airplane as the base to build on.

Teams will be scored and judged on story telling and aesthetics as always, but they will be getting bonus points for the one that goes the furthest.

Dai & Jiayuan (China) and Gabby & Owen (Australia)

Chinese Dragon

Based on a Chinese Dragon from a Spring Festival, they have used a perfect colour combination.

The Dragon flew 10.4 metres.

Henry & Cade (Australia) and Nick & Stacey (Canada)

Medieval Dragon

A classic medieval dragon that matches the colour of the plane. Plus the added fun on the build with a knight riding the dragon.

The Dragon flew  10.99 metres.

Oskari & Aura (Finland) and Emily & Sarah (New Zealand)

Flying Chicken

A giant flying chicken with its little hens on its back! Ironically a flightless bird! The plan is for it to release its eggs as it launches, which worked well! A fun extra detail.

The chicken flew a massive 17.90 metres.

Paul & Nealita (USA) and David & G (Australia)

Bald Eagle

What turned out to be a very heavy eagle looks amazing! It even has a landing gear. Sadly, upon launch the head of the Eagle shatter before it reached the end of the run way.

The Eagle few 4.24 metres.

Vidar & Albin (Sweden) and Trent & Alex (Australia)

When Pigs Fly

Based on the famous expression, this fun build is totally in line with Trent and Alex’s character builds! It also feels very suitable for the Swedish team. With two pig pilots, and a third hanging out from the bottom.

Their build managed to fly 10.03 metres.

Challenge Winners

Travelling the furthers and with the highest score, Oskari & Aura (Finland) and Emily & Sarah (New Zealand) win this challenge!
